Brian Katz serves as Katz’s Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the company as well as strategic planning and execution for his client’s real estate expansions and dispositions. Brian has completed deals valued in excess of $3 billion dollars in NY, NJ, CT, PA, DE, MD, VA, DC and FL. He has led market entry assignments and strategy plans across multiple states and MSAs that have resulted in long-term execution programs. His transaction history includes numerous suburban and downtown lease and sale deals for several National chains including: DSW Shoes, Floor and Decor, Saks OFF 5TH, World Market, Party City and Retro Fitness. Brian has extensive expertise and knowledge of the retail landscape throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Prior to joining Katz in 2000, Brian held the position of Project Manager with Forest City Ratner.
