I was the Operations & Production manager for this music venue. Production Side: Staffing, hiring and scheduling all production contractors for the 45+ events the venue did each month. Planned and designed all production elements for all stages in the venue. Maintained organizational and maintenance schedule for all production gear owned by the venue. Communicated with third party promoters to plan all aspects of their events including production needs, load in times, visual and lighting needs, sound check and patch building etc.. I was also the lead sound engineer for the venue and ran sound for all of the events we had there unless the act was touring with their own sound engineer. Operations Side:I used my own self designed info capture system to interface with all third party clients which I used to populate the venues internal event calendar and disseminate planning information to the department managers and staff. Then I used this info to generate the contract for the events and passed on house production rider, wire transfer info for deposit acquisition, signed contracts for client review to solidify the booking. I then used an self designed G Suite spreadsheet system to staff all departments for the events and created living staffing documents for all department managers to use for their own planning purposes including Bartenders, Cocktail Waitresses, Bar Backs, Table Service Assistants, Security, Cleaning Crew, Bathroom Attendants, Production Staff and Stage Hands. I was then on site for all the events from load in to load out to make sure that the planning I did was implemented and executed in an efficient and organized fashion keeping cost down and making sure to balance hourly staff with revenue generating staff to maintain a balanced budget and ensure profitability.

I was hired by at that time what was the new owner of the 79 Poplar St location. The building has a big history in the Atlanta music scene and my goal was to bring it back to it's glory throwing underground events and redoing all the production in the night club area. It was successful and increased revenue for the business through what was historically a slow season. Unfortunately the AirBnB rentals in the building would consistently complain about the bass transference into their units which made it impossible to continue to do those kind of events I the area was turned into an extension of the sports bar that was on the main level. I moved on to work for Believe Music Hall at that point.
