David "Brian" Keeling Brian began his career at The Boeing Company in 1986 as production assembler. He served Boeing's Military, Commercial and Corporate Divisions in a variety of manufacturing assignments and operations leadership positions for 19 years in the Fuselage, Propulsion, Modification/Flightline organizations, Upon leaving Boeing , Brian worked 6 years at Simpler consulting where he held multiple progressive titles of Master Sensei, Senior Sensei and Account manager, He was instrumental in introducing Lean operational improvements that enhanced production output, improved productivity and reduced lead time and inventory for multiple companies. Brian then joined Spirit Aerosystems located in Tulsa Oklahoma as Director of Business Jets and had P&L responsibility for the design, engineer and manufacture of wing structures and flight control surfaces for Gulfstream 280 / 650 jets. Where he transformed the production system utilizing Lean techniques. Brian then held the position of Senior Director Manufacturing / Assembly with Operations responsibility for 7 different platforms to include Boeing 737,747,777,787 and Gulfstream 280 / 650 wing systems with approximately 3,000 employees in Tulsa and McAlester, Oklahoma. Brian implemented a new management operating system which improved on-time deliveries, reduced unit costs, improved program margins and overall plant profitability. Brian then relocated to Spirit Headquarters Wichita Kansas to accept the position of Director Global Production NC programming and Fabrication M.E./Planning. In this new role he was responsible to transform the business from individual sites to a Global centralized organization with full responsibility, These sites included Tulsa Ok, Mcalaster Ok, Kinston NC, Saint-Nazaire France, Prestwick Scotland, reporting globally to Wichita Kansas.
