Leading the iconic Bord na Móna Consumer product categories on the exciting journey from “Brown to Green”. Ireland has committed to ambitious climate goals and my team are designing innovative solutions across both the home heating and growing media categories to achieve these goals whilst still meeting the on-going needs of our loyal consumer base through our multi-channel distribution networks.

In October 2018 Bord na Móna announced it’s “Just Transition” strategy. As part of the strategy the business was largely restructured and the New Bord na Móna "Energy" Division was born. Bord na Móna Energy is the consolidation of the Home Heating, Growing Media Professional, Growing Media Retail, Bord na Móna UK and Power Generation businesses.In December 2018 Brian was appointed as Head of Commercial Sales and Marketing for the new Energy business.

Lead for the Commercial business department at Bord na Móna Fuels which is Ireland’s best loved provider in home heating fuel. Bord na Móna is the leading manufacturer and distributor of solid fuel products within the residential heating market in Ireland. We are the only supplier who can offer every type of fuel for your fire needs including peat briquettes, coal, smokeless coal, wood logs and kindling, stove fuels and convenient products such as Firepak, Firelog and Firelighters. We are constantly working on new innovative products which has seen many new and exciting products being developed – for the faster way to a fuller fire.

Flanagan’s Foods are a leading food and drinks distribution, outsource partner on the Island of Ireland. Our success speaks for itself with a strong heritage back to 1968. The Award winning team at Flanagan’s Foods are passionate about the brands we choose to work with. Working across all channels. Brands include: Tangerine (Princess mallows, Sherbet, Black Jack, Fruit Salad, Wham, Refresher, Dip Dab to mention just a few), Butterkist, Guylian “The world’s favourite Belgian Chocolate”, Bahlsen Biscuits, Firefly, Juice Burst, Lorina, Getmore Drinks, POW, Plamil and Monty Bojangles. We have successfully launched, built and developed brands such as Burton’s Biscuits (Jammie Doggers, Wagon Wheels, Cadbury Biscuits, Viscount) and Thornton’s Chocolates here on the Island of Ireland.

Responsible for the complete sales and marketing functions across all categories, Brands and channels: Retail, Foodservice, Convenience, Impulse and vending for the Flanagan's Foods business.

Dublin

Responsible for the Management of the National & Key account team at Bewleys. Bewley’s is a market leading provider of coffee solutions to the Foodservice, B2B and Retail sectors in Ireland, the U.K. and the U.S. Bewley’s is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ireland’s Campbell Bewley Group with coffee operations in Ireland, the UK and North America and with Group annual revenues of approximately €100 million. National accounts include: Musgrave Group, Tesco, Dunnes, Topaz, Maxol, Mace, Aramark to name just a few.

Dublin

Reporting to the Commercial Director (Responsible for total management of Premier foods Ire Business)Totally accountable for the Foodservice commercial business unit (CBU). In Jan 2011 assumed additional responsibility to include the direct management for the Retail Grocery Wholesale, C&C and b2b Channels to include all retail brands and ranges. Key Brands: Loyd Grossman, Sharwoods, Birds, Oxo, Ambrosia, Erin Soups, McDonnells, Capri Sun, Chivers and Hartleys.

A key member of the senior leadership team at Premier Foods Ireland. Total responsibility for the Foodservice commercial business unit. Managed the Sales, Marketing, and cross functional teams for this channel. Key Brands: Hartleys, McDonnells, Erin, Chivers, Sharwoods, Loyd Grossman, Capri Sun and many more....

AFH (Away From Home) Sales Manager for IOI. Managing the 2 regional sales Teams (6 in ROI, 2 in NI) and associated Merchandising staff. Totally responsible for coordination and delivering both the NI and ROI business objectives/plans/strategy for both markets. Managing national and international head office accounts.
