CurrentContinually assess the competitive environment and set the strategic direction for the overall Human Resources service line including Human Resources, Employee Health, Training & Education, Service Excellence, and Volunteer Services encompassing 1,750 employees, 242 providers, and 300 Volunteers. Set operational goals and manage accountability for results. Enhance the organization’s Employment Value Proposition in order to be an employer of choice and attract and retain the best talent. Partner with the senior leadership team to establish a culture of engagement and achieve the strategic goals of the organization. Notable accomplishments include:● Lead the talent management pandemic recovery effort by implementing a continual workforce rightsizing program, modernizing recruitment, responding to the retained employee voice, and redefining healthcare staff engagement.● Effectively responded to the COVID-19 pandemic from an employee health, safety, and support standpoint through policies and programs. This was the second highest scoring area in the most recent engagement survey.● Increased Employee Engagement from the 50th to the 86th percentile; achieving national Workplace Transformation and Workplace of the Year Awards.● Created an Employee Health and Urgent Care center addressing a wide range of employees’ health and welfare needs.● Lead the diversity and belonging body of work increasing workforce diversity and overall sense of inclusion. This was the highest scoring area in the most recent engagement survey.● Develop and implement succession planning programs for executive and key leader positions resulting in a 75% internal fill rate.● De-risk and annuitize a Defined Benefit Pension Plan.
