Program Manager, leading a systems development team of 20 plus engineers designing a life safety communication system for hospitals. Accountable for the overall quality and integrity of the system platform. Provide leadership to the development team coordinating design of over 40 system modules required to operate seamlessly in multiple configurations. Ensure system can be tailored to the needs of customers worldwide on 6 continents. Lead interdisciplinary team of Hardware, Software, Firmware, Mechanical and Verification engineers to develop industry leading FDA regulated Class II Medical Device. Provide a team work environment that fosters collaboration to achieve customer expectations. Function as the primary interface for the Product Management, Validation, and Manufacturing teams to provide a cohesive team throughout product development process.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate Engineering team during design and testing of the systemRequirements – Author and manage requirements for the system at Customer Level as well as design level.Design Plan – Develop and execute design plan and schedule with the project managerSystem Architecture – Foster creation of the System Architecture by collaborating with Lead Engineers from multiple disciplines.Design Control – Responsible to ensure design process complies with 21 CFR 820.30 design control activities.Budget – Create and manage the multi-million dollar development budget.Test Plans- Review and approve test plan and test theory of System Verification and System ValidationManufacturing Transfer – Approve manufacturing transfer plan and collaborate with Manufacturing Management to transfer design into production.Executive Advising – Provide final input to CEO for authorization to release product for General Availability. Process Development – Work with Senior Managers across multiple departments to create and maintain the Product Development Process.
