Music is my passion. I began playing guitar at a young age and have performed and recorded with numerous bands. This lead to my interest in audio recording and encouraged me to enroll in the Music Industry Arts program at Fanshawe College. Along with recording, I excel in audio editing and mixing using Pro Tools. My love for music is demonstrated through the show I host on Radio Western called Chin Music where I play eclectic handpicked music to promote lesser known bands and musicians.Over the past few years I’ve been involved with the Canadian Federation of The Blind (a not-for-profit organization comprised of blind people working together to raise expectations for the blind in Canada). Through this opportunity I have connected with mentors and been able to share my knowledge with others as well. I was also elected treasurer for the Ontario chapter and most recently nationally. I have also started a radio talk show with my sister inspired by the Canadian Federation of The Blind called Outlook where we educate the public on blindness and other disabilities. I have been told I have a great radio voice and hope to get voice over work in the future.Other interests include a love for math which I have had all my life. I’m also interested in psychology and would love to help and support others in the future. I’m very detail oriented and hard working. When I begin a task I don’t give up easily.
