Brian King is a manager at Invictus Accounting Group LLP in downtown Vancouver, BC. He has over twenty years of controllership experience. In 2021, he was the outsourced controller for a junior mining company that was acquired by one of the largest mining companies in the world in an all-cash transaction.Brian is a CPA, CGA and holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. He has over 20 years of experience in junior resource companies with properties in Ecuador, Peru, Argentina and BC. He was the controller for two companies, one of which was a SOX registrant, that have been acquired and a third that he helped complete an IPO on the TSX.His focus is on external financial reporting for publicly traded companies. His duties have included consolidation, close processes, treasury, internal controls and generation of relevant reports including for due diligence on acquisitions and others requested by Boards of Directors. He has extensive experience in dealing with audit firms.
