Responsible for the Department’s Oracle Enterprise platform and leading a team of professionals providing support and development services

Lead analysis, design and implementation of the Oracle Cloud finance stream program of work for GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expenses and requisitioning.Stakeholder engagement negotiating and influencing business groups to adopt innovative thinking towards system and business processes. Also, leading discussions with the system implementer on behalf of the business to achieve the best result and build consensus between the department and system implementer.Successfully designed a new chart of accounts structure to streamline and align with whole of government direction for use of the chart to manage and run business activities without compromising of information needed to report to DTF, internal and external stakeholders.Lead analysis to look for opportunities to use standard functionality to drive process change and efficiencies. For example, improved way of asset recording for capital and CIP transactions, reduced manual effort of issuing AR statements and printing of cheques.Provide expert advice for data migration, testing requirements and business process re-design.Successfully lead the finance stream in the implementation and go live on 14 October 2020.

Manage and lead the service delivery for the provision of Oracle Financials, Payroll and HR applications, Reporting applications and custom bespoke business applications.
