May manage a high volume of calls.• Resolves member claims through proactive problem solving and decision making, within authority guidelines and under moderate supervision, overcoming obstacles, and effectively prioritizing the workload.• May take First Notice of Loss to initiate claim and gather information for effective investigation.• Collects data relative to resolving physical damage claims, coverage and liability investigations, and claims servicing to identify defects in the end to end claim file cycle and improve operational execution.• Informs and prioritizes backlogs for digital self-service improvements and automation for the Claims organization.• Clearly documents thought process including damage evaluation, investigation, negotiation, and settlement decisions for cases that may include non-routine circumstances and resolutions.• Sets expectations and keeps members informed throughout the claims process to ensure that claims are effectively resolved.Collaborates with external and internal business partners to facilitate claims resolution. Supports members, business partners, and claimants, through use of varying communication channels to include utilization of digital tools to drive speed and exceptional service.• Supports workload surges and/or Catastrophe Operations as needed which may involve volunteering for extended hours.• Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
