Worked in the Brand & Product team as a product manager of fishing rods & reels for retail/ecommerce, and also was responsible for project management of all rods & reels projects. As a product manager, I worked with the B2B team and customer insights to understand white space opportunities to introduce new products to our consumers. After analyzing white space opportunities, I would build & pitch a new product scope and design brief to kick off a new product. Many of my responsibilities included:- Working with the B2B/Ecom team and customer insights to understand white space opportunities- Reviewing comp products- Building financial models (revenue forecasting, capital spending, and margin analysis)- Setting freedoms & constraints on design- Creating spec sheets- Kickoff quoting with vendors- Building project timelines including deliverables, durations, task owners, and dependencies- Hosting cross-functional meetings with internal stakeholders- Product and timeline reviews with international vendors- Hosting kick-off meetings to prepare marketing & business channel leads as product approaches launch.

Lead the commercialization and project management of all new products for Catch Co from Initiation to Launch. This involved collaborating cross-functionally with the Industrial Design, Ops, Brand & Product, Marketing, B2B, Ecommerce, and Creative teams. I also supported work flow by implementing, promoting, and streamlining established processes that lead to a more efficient product development timeline.
