As of September 2015 I have merged my consulting practice (LaBrie Consulting, LLC) with Ray & Ellis Consulting, LLC to form Ray, Ellis & LaBrie Consulting, LLC. This new practice merges my 14+ years of experience with Rehabilitation Investment Tax Credit, National Register Nominations, Section 106 Review, and Archival Mitigation projects with that of my partner, Marion Ellis' 23+ years.

Ray & Ellis Consulting, LLC is a historic preservation consulting firm, founded in 1992 by the late Bamby Ray as Ray & Associates. We are a solely women owned, independent historic preservation firm offering tax incentive consulting, including research, photographic documentation, nominations for the National Register of Historic Places, and surveys of historic resources. Success of initial historic preservation / renovation projects with leading area developers led to expansion into both public and privately funded projects throughout metro Atlanta. Besides many projects in Georgia, Ray & Ellis Consulting has also worked in Alabama, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Tennessee. We provide historic preservation services to a range of clients including developers, architectural firms, local civic associations, universities, and individual owners of historic properties. We specialize in tax incentive applications. We are well versed in State, and National Park Service (NPS) guidelines, and applications. During a project we act as liaison between organizations, owners, architects, the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) and the NPS to ensure that projects are successfully completed. As a small firm we pride ourselves on the quality of our historic research and our ability to work individually with our clients.
