Developed a Model-View-Controller (MVC) C# application for use by a joint agency group consisting over more than a dozen government agencies. Developed the user interface using Razor pages and JavaScript. Database access was developed using WebAPI and ajax calls. This application is a repository for hardware, software and firmware assurance assessments and vulnerabilities.Created a SharePoint 2013 site collection for collaboration use by the joint agency group. Developed Nintex workflows and branding to customize the site to meet customer needs. Also performed administrative tasks such as site creations and user management for the site collection.

Developed multiple custom solutions in SharePoint 2010 and 2013 for the Army Materiel Command. The interface for these solutions was highly customized so to appear separate from the SharePoint environment and help minimize user training requirements and increase end-user acceptance of the solutions. Solutions were developed using JavaScript along with several jQuery libraries and REpresentational State Transfer (REST) methods for data management. Developed Nintex workflows, branding and permissions management to customize the solutions to meet customer needs.

Technical team lead for a SharePoint project that was highly customized to meet client needs. Customizations were made using VB.Net and C#.Net. Assumed maintenance activities to the site that had become non-functional after being migrated from a non-classified site to a SIPR environment. I corrected the major defects to the system and provided additional system enhancements. Tasks included creating and deploying SharePoint web parts, customizing and implementing a Forms Based Authentication solution, rewriting external interfaces from Access and Excel that had become incompatible with the SharePoint site, creating a data audit capability, performing SQL Server DBA activities and Windows Server system administration.

Application Developer for the Missile Defense Data Center's (MDDC) Data Management System. DMS is a multi-tiered distributed system used to process and store missile test related data for the Missile Defense Agency. The system was developed using the Visual Studio 2008 C# .Net environment. Microsoft SQL Server was used for data storage and NHibernate was used as a Object-Relational Mapper (ORM) tool. I developed both Web Forms for the front end system and Windows Forms for the Windows application. The Windows application was used in a classified environment and was developed using a Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture.

Lead Application Developer for several applications developed and maintained for the U.S. Army’s Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM). Developed these applications using Visual Basic .NET, Oracle Forms & Reports, PL/SQL, PSP, and Pro*C and integrated them with Oracle & SQL Server databases, email servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office products.In addition to software development, I performed database administration, wrote Design documents, participated in SEP reviews, optimized applications, assigned work to developers and reviewed developers’ code. I also served on the Process Configuration Control Board for the organization that was responsible for defining the Software Engineering Process used by CIO/G6.

Lead Technical Consultant for PeopleSoft 7, 7.5 & 8 implementations. These projects included Human Resources, Time & Labor, Financials, and Supply Chain Management modules. Primary responsibilities were performing system customizations and optimizations by using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR, Crystal Reports, HTML, and Unix scripts. The customizations of the PeopleSoft application provided clients the functionality required by government pay regulations, company policies, and union time reporting regulations. Examples of the optimizations I provided include improving report processing times by more than 90%, reducing payroll processing time by 50%, and improving return times on search queries by as much as 95%.Completed system installations of PeopleSoft modules Human Resources 8.3, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) 8.3, Financials 8.02, Customer Portal 8.02 and Employee Portal 8.02. These installations included the application software, Web Servers, Application Servers, Process Schedulers, integration with Oracle 8i and Help systems. These installations required extensive knowledge of the Unix and NT operating systems and were performed in the secure environment of a financial institution. Integration was necessary with exterior and interior firewalls, LDAP, and process control software.

Developed several client-server applications using Visual Basic and C++. These applications are used in support of the missions of NASA at Marshall Space Flight Center and include the Centerwide Action Item Tracking System (CAITS), the Business Procurement Request System (BPRS), and the Travel Request System (TRS). Oracle was used as the server database for these applications.

Senior staff member on several major software development projects servicing the United States Army and National Guard. Responsibilities included system analysis, design, C programming, database design, data loading from existing Unix and DOS systems, customer training and maintenance. The projects were developed on a Unix platform using Oracle, SQL*Forms, C, and Unix shell programs.

Established the computer systems support group for the firm. Directed team of five programmers in providing computer related support for Marine Corps logistics programs. Provided technical support for the Logistics Support Analysis Record, Marine Corps Level of Repair Analysis model, and the Initial Spares Optimization Model.
