While there I negotiated to develop a network of outside sales representatives, negotiated the purchase of $1M piece of equipment, and a new facility. I also implemented a new job costing system to identify profitability by project and by customer. I outlined and implemented programs to reduce costs, such as having vending machines in the production area for welding supplies that were previously unaccounted for. I cleaned up the balance sheet, negotiated lines of credit for the large purchases and operating expenses, and moved banks to consolidate debt and reduce interest expense.
