After over 20 years of research in silk protein our team at SilkTech Biopharmaceuticals is looking forward to revolutionizing the landscape of anti-inflammatory-based disease treatment with our non-toxic silk-derived protein, amlisimod, currently in clinical development. We’ve designed amlisimod to work as a broad spectrum anti-inflammatory treatment initially as a prescription eye drop for addressing dry eye and ocular surface inflammation. However, we are looking forward to developing amlisimod for additional systemic conditions like asthma, diabetes inflammation induced by infectious disease and many others!
