Sharepoint Developer
With my proven SharePoint history, I was seen as a technolgy (and team) leader. Among the work I did, I created a custom field type solution to securely store encrypted data in a SharePoint list, built multiple C# event receivers (primarily in order to work around restrictions in Designer and InfoPath), reworked a SharePoint 2007 CodePlex solution to SharePoint 2010 development standards, and created an SSIS package to import data from an external system into SharePoint. In addition to the custom .Net development, I created a number of InfoPath forms and SharePoint Designer workflows, and I consulted on many more. Performed deep, extensive troubleshooting and analysis of failing vendor-developed SharePoint/SQL SSIS packages, leading to a redesign of the process, and after diagnosing farm issues leading to critical site outages. SharePoint architecture is what I enjoy, and I like to take an organization's SharePoint practice to the next level by focusing on the "meta" tier: process, policy/audit, practice, guidance, etc. How do we make the best SharePoint service that we can? How do we proactively manage the farm to guarantee quality of service, prevent service interruption, and increase trust in the platform? In short, how do we build better SharePoint solutions?
