SEM Tool Owner in the Intel development fab, worked with vendor engineers and Intel integrators to provide inline defect imaging during 10nm process development. Responsible for 24/7 support of 10+ tools in a production environment. Ensured data quality while maximizing throughput by writing recipes and developing new SEM features throughout development and transfer to high-volume manufacturing.

-Studied the physics of soft X-ray/ extreme ultraviolet generation (~2 - 40 nm) in laser-produced plasmas arising from the interaction between ultra-intense femtosecond laser pulses and clustered gas targets in a vacuum using a state-of-the-art 25 terawatt peak power Ti:sapphire laser system-Pioneered multiple techniques for making structured plasma waveguides capable of guiding ultra-intense laser pulses and pursued their applications in high harmonic generation, terahertz generation and direct laser acceleration of charged particles-Led the design, construction and operation of experiments from scratch in a new lab space-Managed and trained a group of five graduate students and two undergraduate students-Designed and constructed a vacuum system that accommodates the non-traditional requirements resulting from the final stage of a laser system being in vacuum while operating with a high gas load in the viscous flow regime-Devised a nozzle design for solenoid-actuated gas valves that makes elongated clustered gas targets of sufficient stability and uniformity for laser-plasma production, overcoming a major experimental obstacle-Designed, constructed and calibrated a 2 - 20 nm grazing incidence flat-field spectrometer that operates under vacuum and uses a Hitachi VLS (variable line spacing) diffraction grating
