- Overall Project Management of multiple Utility Scale Solar Power Generation Plants- Recruit, interview, and assist in hiring all assigned personnel.- Perform initial feasibility of assigned projects with Business Development helping to decrease due diligence time frames.- Establish project B.O.M. estimates at start of project and ensure correct information is passed through to each department.- Proactively communicate with project teams and management regarding project meetings and financial deadlines.- Oversee the assigned project personnel are properly meeting the construction schedule.- Monitor scheduling productivity on a weekly basis and expeditiously report to management on any changes.- Monitor budgets for variances and approve or disapprove all cost variance for assigned projects.- Ensure adherence to the company safety program by all assigned personnel and subcontractors.- Oversee the startup and close out of all assigned projects and ensure project construction offices are properly established and maintained.- Responsible for total project specific knowledge including completion dates, specifications, and budgets.- Research, verify, and contract required subcontractors for assigned projects.- Assist the purchasing and estimating managers in ensuring the company is continually networking for and hiring the best vendors in terms of their attitude, quality, value, and approach to business.- Certify all company systems are being adhered to by assigned personnel.- Constantly monitor all new and established systems to determine their effectiveness and make improvement recommendations where necessary.- Initiate the development and implementation of new construction related systems to enhance or improve the construction operation.
