CRBard / Davol division Process lead for development of a combination Tissue / Drug product for hernia repair. Included managing a team of process engineers to develop, qualify, and validate a product line in our Puerto Rico manufacturing facility which treats the tissue substrate and applies the drug component of the device. Significant amount of time spent working with R&D on spec development and test method development. Worked through multiple technical challenges which required rapid solutions. Project manager for european launch a tissue derived hernia repair mesh products.October '11 - June '12 : Implemented 5 additional product sized of a tissue based product at a subcontractor, and into our manufacturing facility in Puerto Rico. Was the project leader for the technology transfer to Puerto Rico. June '10 - July '12 : Worked on the manufacturing transfer of a tissue based device from a subcontractor to a Bard Facility in Puerto Rico. Was an integral part of setting up the facility, and specifying and obtaining custom equipment for the operation. Was responsible for characterizing the existing process and creating manufacturing procedures for the new process in Puerto Rico. Worked on the validation strategy and execution for both the existing (at the subcontractor) and new manufacturing processes.

Worked in a team that designed, patented and commercialized a small hermetically sealed thermoelectric switch. Sustaining design and manufacturing engineering for 5 global product lines representing $30 million dollars of anual revenue. Supported manufacturing plants in Mexico, China, and Korea.
