It was acquired by IVE group in August 2017.During my time with SEMA I have established fully automated or semi-automated job processing environments when previously only manual ad-hoc data processing had been performed. My main role has been as technical lead for SEMA NAB application programmers for the last six years. I have worked on NAB applications on and off since 2006, and have gradually developed over that time the background processes and rule sets required to process the NAB account.I have developed an object oriented, configuration driven, job execution framework with an API in a number of different languages (Shell, C, Perl, and in-house script) that has maximized code re-use and greatly improved application delivery time, data processing time and program reliability. The framework has also greatly reduced single point dependencies, and expedited task-handover from one staff member to another by (a) promoting a configuration-driven programming model that defines business rules "up front" in the configuration rather than "burying" the rules in the code, and (b) following a standard set of logical data processing steps.
