I began employment with the Brantford Police Service in January 2017. After completing Basic Constable Training I was assigned to Uniform Patrol, I was trained in the administration of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, and was designated as a Qualified Technician in the operation of the Intoxilyzer 8000C. I was also trained in Crisis Intervention, and made a Field Training Officer. In January 2020 I was assigned to the Traffic Unit and have since completed collision investigation levels II (At Scene Collision Investigation), III (Technical Collision Investigation), IV (Collision Reconstruction). I have been the Breath Technician Program Coordinator since September 2020. Duties of this role include overseeing all Qualified Breath Technicians, and training new and current police officers on alcohol related driving offences, and use of approved screening devices.I am a Drug Recognition Expert.I am trained in the use of stationary Radar, Moving Radar, and Lidar. I have been a speed enforcement instructor since June 2022.In April 2024 I was assigned to the Forensic Identification Section. Show less
