Programmed automated tools using Python, Selenium WebDriver, and Shell script. Honed a style of defect logging that is precise, and extremely readable.

Planning, execution, and automation of quality assurance tests against custom Drupal sites, and custom ASP.Net web applications. Methods and tools include manual testing (planned and exploratory), automation with Selenium WebDriver (Python bindings), layout and code analysis, and documentation of defect reports in the Mantis bug tracking system.

After a semester of consulting with Dr. Richard Kopak (UBC) on digital interfaces for education and rhetoric, I was hired to review over twenty web based tools for annotation (Diigo, Zotero, Stickis, etc). This research was intimately connected with the development of an annotation tool for The Public Knowledge Project’s content management project Open Journal Systems, wherein collaboration and peer review is facilitated by web-tools.
