Manage a team of engineers and software developers that works on hardware and software in the product reliability labs for testing products and components.

I currently manage a team of software engineers in the product reliability group. Our team tackles different hardware and software issues that are used in testing products. From lower level equipment control and design to data management and storage. We also provide visual analytics of our test data and overall lab information.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

I analyze returned product from costumers and figure out the causes for product failures. This is accomplished through trouble shooting skills along with the use of state of the art analysis equipment. Real time X-Ray, scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and thermal imaging are some of the tools that are used in trouble shooting process.

I work in the Audit, Reliability, and Engineering Test Labs to ensure products meet/exceed quality standards. One area of focus is the design and building of new Quality Lab test stations that enhance the monitoring of product performance throughout different environmental tests. This includes managing Quality Lab projects (acquiring funds, managing project budgets, organizing resources). Working globally is also a job function of mine where I help support the Asia Pacific quality groups with new test stations through training and demonstrations. I also assist Design and Manufacturing groups in developing individual component tests (transistors, diodes, resistors, modules) to ensure they meet quality and reliability standards for an industrial transmitter.

I worked in the Data Center. I did daily monitoring of key systems such as AC units and back up generators to check for functionality and performance. I also did power study on different servers to present possible power savings when selecting new servers.
