Managing a team of 10+ staff Engineers and 20 + Freelance Engineers; hiring &training junior engineers and managing senior level engineers with a high level of ability and experience; supervising staff roster, daily allocation of tasks, and annual staff appraisals.Liaising with demanding clients such as Premier League, UEFA, BBC, European Tour Productions, ESPN, AELTC / Wimbledon, IBC for RWC 2015, IMG executives, and all other departments to ensure technical and broadcast facilities are run smoothly,effectively and to budget, adhering to strict SLAs.Managing 24 / 7 / 365 support of 40+ Edit suites, 7+ Sound suites, 11+ Galleries, an MCR with 60+ Incoming lines, a centralised machine rooms housing 50+ decks, 4 Studios and 2 TX suites.Project Management of IMG’s multi-million pound move from mediahouse to IMG Studios. Responsible for staffing across 2 sites, coordinating the move (with others) of all of IMG’s Studios, Galleries, Edit Suites, MCR and Transmission suites andleading the EVS server move with minimal if no downtime.Building and maintaining excellent working relationship with major suppliers such as Avid, EVS, Quantel, Viz, Forscene and various Hire companies, negotiating hire & purchase deals worth circa £100K+

This support currently covers a post-production house of 40+ Edit suites, 7+ Sound suites, 11+ Galleries, an MCR with 60+ Incoming lines, a VT department with 50+ decks, and 4 Studios. All running 365 days a year and all HD Capable.Internal IMG Management Training on the following courses: Management Fundamentals, Communicating Effectively, and Interviews Skills.Experience in dealing with some of the major technical players in the industry. Creating and maintaining a good working relationship with them all (I would like to think).
