As an employee at FactSet Research Systems I am proud to deliver state-of-the-art financial software to finance industry leaders across the globe. Our agile, iterative approach to development allows for a partnership relationship more so than customer-supplier. I currently work with a dedicated and diverse team of talent to bring to market a brand new big data application that has been met with vast excitement and hype not only from internal stakeholders but from our clients who work with us closely to ensure effective development and useful features.Previously, during my tenure as an undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at the University of Rochester I have had the opportunity to establish a solid theoretical background as well as implement my skills in several practical internships. To me, pursuing Computer Science meant using the skills I have gathered in the classroom to provide real-world solutions and products to people to improve both economic efficiency and their quality of life.The ultimate satisfaction in my eyes is to develop a piece of software from start to finish and seeing that technology bring a measurable benefit to people's lives.
