I manage operations for 4 libraries on the UC Berkeley campus, including but not limited to;Hiring, training and evaluating full time staff,Budgeting for part time employees, maintaining or expanding hours of operation based on funding, and handling supplies for those locations.Working on library wide initiatives. Evaluating library services, and working to better the library experience for our patrons.

Currently I oversee and manage all circulation functions at the Education-Psychology Library and have ever increasing responsibilities at the Social Welfare Library.I perform roughly 10 hours of reference service at 3 service points; the Education-Psychology, the Environmental Design Library, and online reference using the Question Point system.I handle the Hiring and training of 1 full time, and 13 part time staff, and oversee 2 other Half time staff on a regular basis.I maintain the budgets for the part time employees and for our supplies and equipment budget. I work toward building good relationships with our faculty.
