• Overall responsible for the day to day running of an Engineering Company of 69 employees. To develop the Company to compete in the Oil & Gas and Shipbuilding sectors, to be able to quote for International clients.• Coordinate and manage projects, review and approve product design and changes.• Manage and develop policies, standards and procedures, technical strategies, processes and specifications to ensure quality, consistency and efficiency in all technical engineering activities. • Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications, present and explain proposals, reports and findings.• Provide general management over finance, marketing, sales, manufacturing, engineering, materials, quality assurance/control, human resources, and information systems for production facility. Makes decisions regarding improving productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. • Review and approve all procurement activities. Set up and negotiate Procurement Strategies. • Reviews reports to determine company performance, profitability and areas of improvement.• Monitor staff performance, develop staff to maximize potential, set employee goals and objectives.• Ensuring the accreditation, retention and adherence to relevant standards (e.g. ISO 9001)

Responsilbe for the execution and co-ordination of commercial procurement activities. Establish commercial input to procurement package strategy. Evaluation of bidders. Full commercial evaluation of quotation. Liaise with client and suppliers as required, responsible for commercial follow-up and commercial clarifications between the project and the supplier. Execution of commercial change control activities. Execution of commercial close out activities and commercial supplier performance evaluation

Initiate Bill of Material (BoM), follow up BoM and Technical Requisitions. Evaluation of bidders. Full technical evaluation of quotation. Document approval. Liaise with client and suppliers as required, responsible for technical follow-up and technical clarifications between the project and the supplier, including documentation and testing.Assist in the QC/QA on documentation and procedures. Expedite all Technical Documentation. Co-ordinate valve group Life Cycle Information (LCI) between supplier and client

• Preparation of Mechanical and HVAC Completion Workpacks for Kashagan Field Development. Liaise with site based engineer’s with regards to offshore queries, produce TR’s, TQ’s as required.
