About Brian Luke, Pmi-Sp

I'm an electrical engineer by degree but a construction scheduler by heart. As a young, Bechtel field engineer I didn't want to know just about wiring a motor I wanted to know what the motor drove. I wanted to know about the whole system. I think this curiosity eventually led me to a career as a scheduler. When a job hits issues, I dive in to analyzing the schedule to figure out what happened and what we can do to correct it. I have a talent for advising upper management of the health of a project in as few words as possible.I had the honor of being asked by the Project Management Institute to help them revamp the Scheduling Professional exam.I recently got involved with Lean. I spearheaded a few Lean initatives and am working at becoming a Lean steward at Quandel.
