I joined Trustmarque on the 1st of April 2016. This was a TUPE transfer that took place when Trustmarque took over responsibility for managing IT services at the Royal Society of Medicine.I am a member of the Infrastructure Support team, part of the Cloud and Managed Services division at Trustmaque. In my new role, I provide 1st and 2nd line support for desktop and server issues. I also share the workload for managing the Mitel phone system and voicemail, and the switches and network infrastructure.

While at the Royal Society of Medicine, I have worked with Novell NetWare, Solaris, SCO Unix, Linux and all versions of Windows from '95 forwards for both desktops and servers with the exceptions of Windows ME and CE. I have supported Microsoft Office versions from 95 to 2010.In addition to my routine work resolving user support calls, I also look after the Sophos Enterprise antivirus software and Checkpoint Firewall. I share the workload for managing the Mitel phone system and voicemail, for managing switches and for making changes to the patching. I also create new user accounts and induct new users onto our network.I qualified as an Extreme Networks Associate ( ENA ) in 2013.

Bloomsbury, London

While studying at CITE (Associates) City Ltd, I was assigned work placement at Charity People, a recruitment company in Bloomsbury, London. My role was to support the office printers and copiers, and two networks; one of Windows 95 peers, the other a Unix server plus terminals. While here, I connected several previously isolated Windows 95 PCs to the network and successfully trouble-shot a failed kilostream link.
