Responsibility for entire portfolio of Enterprise Storage solutions – this includes Storage used for all versions of the Teradata Platform Family (approx. annual revenue of $300M). Ran an Advanced Development team and a multi-organizational Storage release team. PM responsible for taking a Advanced Development concept and turning it into the Extreme Performance Appliance, the “World’s Fastest Data Warehouse”. PM responsibility over Teradata Extreme Data Appliance – formed concept team, wrote product requirements, determined competitive landscape, set Pricing Strategy, & developed a radically new “Go to market” strategy. Integral member of the team involved in releasing every new member of the Teradata product family.

In charge of a cross organizational team developing a product in a new and emerging market. Led an on-time Engineering platform release, from concept phase to Engineering complete, of the initial Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance (2500). The project had a capital budget of $1,500,000, greater than 50 Engineers, and under very tight schedule constraints. Storage architect for next generation Teradata DW Appliance 2550.

Member of a team responsible for the certification and release of Teradata Enterprise Storage. Functions included: working with the storage vendor to resolve problems found in Engineering, developing test plans, supporting customer problems, and driving RASUI features into future products.
