Mr. Evans solve clients' problems in planning and scheduling, and earned value management.

Mr. Evans was the dean of the CPM-600 Earned Value Management (EVM) training track. He coordinated instructors and supervises the preparation and delivery of the CPM-600 training track. Brian also taught courses within the CPM-100 and CPM-300 training track.

Mr. Evans supports the FAA and commercial clients in implementing Integrated Program Management systems. Mr. Evans provides Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and scheduling support to the FAA RCISS Program Management Office. He also provides guidance on the Upcoming FAA Joint Resources Council (JRC) decision on RCISS Segment 3. Mr. Evans is providing EVMS forProject implementation and program management support to a commercial company supporting DoD and other clients. He is providing implementation guidance for the client’s EVMS and assisting in the development and documentation of program management processes and procedures.Mr. Evans provided scheduling best practice training, processes, and procedures for the a commercial research institution. He developed scheduling best practices training and provided filters, views and reports in Primavera P6 for the DCMA 14 Point Analysis. Mr. Evans also participated in the intsitution's internal EVMS validation review.Mr. Evans provided support the a DoD contractor's 3rd Generation Dewar Cooler Bench (3Gen DCB) program in preparation for an Integrated Baseline Review (IBR). He worked with the program manager and the Integrated Product Team (IPT) in preparation for and IBR on the U.S. Army DCB program. Brian provided training, IBR artifact development and EVMS support to contractor's. He attended the IBR kick-off and provided assistance as required.

Mr. Evans was an Adjunct Professor/Lecturer in the Key Senior Program Manager Certificate program at American University. The program prepares federal executives to lead complex acquisition programs. The program addresses all of the Federal Acquisition Institute’s (FAI’s) senior program management Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PM Level 3) competencies and aligned skills.Mr. Evans lectures the following 3 courses within the program:• 1) Review of Senior Integrated Program Management and Key Federal Acquisition Topics. The course focuses on critical topics including: program planning, technology development, earned value management (EVM), risk management, scheduling, systems engineering, logistics, and testing and evaluation.• 2) Program Performance Measurement and Federal Acquisition Reporting. The course focuses on the advanced techniques to enable participants to optimally collect, organize, analyze and report on project and program progress and performance—from cost estimating, risk management, earned value management (EVM) to scheduling and technical performance are discussed.• 3) Putting It All Together: Acquisition Cases. The capstone course focuses on challenging participants to apply the knowledge, skills and abilities learned from the previous five courses using the student’s current program and agency challenges by playing different functional roles and working in teams to work through the numerous programmatic issues involved in their case inclusive of addressing department/agency decision support system environment effectiveness and efficiency.
