Brian Maag is a musician, composer, and educator currently based in Pennsylvania. A multi-instrumentalist, he is competent on guitar, bass, and saxophone. As a working musician he is called upon regularly for solo work, as a sideman, and for session work with various groups spanning a wide array of genres. When it comes to his own music, Brian draws from elements of jazz, soul, rock, and hip-hop to create a unique sound that's sure to get those booties shakin'! With a vast repertoire of both original music and inventive interpretations of covers, coupled with his improvisational prowess, Brian is a musical chameleon sure to be the perfect fit for almost any musical situation. He has become a staple in the central PA music scene, and is frequently working with in a variety of projects and collaborations. Some of the types of venues Brian has performed at include music festivals, cruises, bars and restaurants, colleges, street fairs, weddings, charity events, and parties.
