Started employment with EPS as a Shift Team leader and carried out this role for 5 years. My main responsibilities were: Responsible for high production output of good quality products. Ensuring safe working practices are carried out by all staff. Liaising with other departments to further improve working practices and increase production output. Solving mechanical, electrical and process problems on extrusion blow moulding machines and ancillary equipment. The role of Production Manager then allowed me to take on new responsibilities. Designated Manager for all site related aspects of implementation, maintenance and on-going adherence to the requirements of the BRC/IOP Global Standard for Packaging. Site responsibility for all aspects of manufacturing to delivery of correct quality products to all customers. Accountable for safe & efficient use of resources, materials, personnel and equipment. Ensure that production, ancillary and transport equipment are available as required and capable of producing and delivering at the agreed efficiencies and cost levels. Continuously review with senior management team on new technology, raw materials and processes that could improve the quality, effectiveness and cost of the production and logistics processes. Improve machine outputs and reduce material loss/wastage through process improvements. Carry out training and implementation of new systems of practice to the Shift Team leaders and to the Machine Operators

I started this role as a trainee technician and worked my way through the training process and grading system to be an asset as leading technician to get promoted to Shift Supervisor. My responsibilities as technician were- Continuous quality monitoring Processing adjustments to maintain and improve product quality and production output Responsible for on-going housekeeping My responsibilities as Shift Supervisor were- Responsible for high production output of good quality products. Service and repair motor vehicles to a high standard. Fault diagnosis using the latest electronic equipment. Dealing with customers to discuss their requirements
