OFON Phase 1 - In ProductionResponsible for the planning, controlling and execution of all electrical maintenance, repairs and upkeep of the client's asset. Ensure that Procedures are followed and Safety Standards are adhered to. Recommend and implement improvements to set procedures. Fault- finding and investigation to determine cause of failure during breakdowns. Ensure that reports for maintenance, breakdowns and repairs are accurate and complete. Recommend and implement corrective action and suggest changes to prevent re-occurrence. Instruct, supervise and provide technical direction to electrical teams, vendors and third party contractors. Accountable for maintaining the electrical teams performance, efficiency, productivity and delivery to schedule.OFON Phase 2 - Hook- up and Commissioning in progress.Meet and liaise with Commissioning Team, Startup Team and Vendors to track progress; and to ensure that the clearing of punch lists are performed and anomalies addressed. Witness startup and testing of machinery and equipment packages; and reviewing procedures and implementation thereof. Ensure that the clients Quality and Safety Standards are adhered to. Trained and developed into an Electrical Supervisory Role with the objective of becoming Chief Electrician on an offshore facility. Program duration is one year of practical, on-the-job and course room training, technical, leadership and safety training. The program is an intensive accelerated program that gives trainees exposure to various rig types, operations, equipment types/manufacturers, various control systems, repair workshop experience and vendor equipment acceptance tests.
