Established, built, and grew Lockton’s Northeast Construction Practice. Formed in 2017 with 5 Associates – me in Washington and 4 Associates in Hartford, CT. During my tenure as Practice Leader, we established construction presence for Lockton in Boston, Philadelphia, and New York City. Created, managed, and grew three dedicated units focused on renewable construction programs, controlled insurance programs, and subcontractor default insurance. Our clients include ENR Top 50 general contractors, heavy civil and trade contractors, private equity firms, real estate developers and institutional investors. Managing practice profitability and business growth, I successfully tripled year over year revenue, adding specialization in SDI, OCIPs and CCIPs. Ensuring connectivity of the practice to the larger business objectives, I proactively collaborated across business units, delivering construction risk solutions to many industry segments including real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, private equity, technology, and warehouse / distribution.🔹 Grew top line revenue from $3M to $18M+ in 5 years. Cultivating relationships with some of the most respected construction companies, in the U.S., I launched and established Lockton as the leading provider of large-scale construction insurance coverage in the D.C. metro area. Accelerating brand awareness, I established both corporate and project relationships with some of the largest construction companies and real estate owners/developers in the metro area, solidifying a foundation of brand advocates across the industry. Partnering with real estate owner/developer clients, I designed and implemented multiple owner controlled (OCIP) insurance programs, covering both property damage to the project and liability for losses arising from the construction process.
