• Provides daytime and off-normal support (7x24 Hrs coverage) encompassing many aspects of Corporate Security operations• Monitors and controls physical access to Bell, BCH and BCE buildings (Canada wide and United States); controls logical access to network elements and various computer environments; and interfaces with Law Enforcement Agencies during off-normal hours.• Investigates and resolves problems and incidents related to physical, logical and system access controls.• Monitors compliance with Bell's Code of Business Conduct and other company guidelines and policies• Monitors alarms; takes appropriate action/response; implements protective measures; and follows-up on reports of unauthorized access or other suspicious activities.• Provides BCE Security Policy awareness and advice for clients.• Establishing, implementing, coordinating and/or endorsing appropriate security measures (including policies, procedures and standards) for the protection of Bell assets.• Monitoring compliance with Security policies, procedures, standards and directives, reporting non-compliance instances to the Officer/Executive in charge• Protecting Bell and its customers from telecom fraud.• Investigating Security breaches, provided such investigations are warranted and are cost effective• Investigating all alleged acts of employee misbehavior• Controlling and/or coordinating the use of outside agencies or consultants for security related matters• Coordinating Bell's corporate legal obligations with Law Enforcement Agencies and Government Departments (court ordered wire taps, annoyance call traces, etc.), pursuant to legal authorization.

• Explain and enforce the Acceptable Use Policy as well as educate and discuss prevention techniques with customers, for various hacking, denial of service, phishing, fraud and other malicious programs over a Canadian wide database of users. • First point of escalation for issues pertaining to hacking, mass mail, spamming, denial of service, Internet harassment and inquiries from law enforcement agencies.• Read through firewall logs in order to identify problems.• Investigate and resolve high priority Internet and Internet security issues• Identifying and analyzing fraudulent web sites• Contacting Internet Service Provider staffs worldwide to prompt immediate action to end network abuse and remove criminal web sites• Collaborating with other team members to achieve team objectives and manage projects• Communicating with customers to provide informational updates and deliver exceptional service quality• Ensure that Internet security incidents are identified, resolved and recommend changes to processes to reduce future risk of incidents • Investigations pertaining to Internet Security and Abuse (Hacking, Spamming, Virus distribution, Copyright infringement, Denial of Service attacks, Data harvesting, Harassment) • Fraud investigations relating to Phishing Scams, Credit Cards and service usage• Explain and enforce BIMS Acceptable Use Policy • Educate customers on System and Network security• Investigate and escalate mail flow problems such as Domain blocks, mail routing issues or DNS issues (Ironports, Brightmail, etc…) • Represent BIMS in matters pertaining to Internet Security and Abuse• Work with law enforcement agencies in response to search warrants.
