I have taught and performed for nine months in total in Japan, and the U.K. with a performing group called the Young Americans, and currently a Teacher's Assistant at Kinder Care. As a teacher with the Young Americans teaching in the U.K. and Japan, and I have also taught within The U.S. as well. With the group I have learned how to hold students' attention and how to teach effectively even with very limited time, and have learned how to work with what I had. Within the group I have taught singing, dancing, and acting. My experience has let me teach various ages from as young as two to adults as old as fifty. I have also taught with varying communities and students, and as a Teacher Assistant with Kinder Care where I have the responsibility of making sure that the kids I worked with were safe and were able to efficiently move to each new activity as well as be able to effectively execute the lesson plans the lead teachers had planned for the day.
