Overall responsibility for conducting governmental committee and Board functions for twenty-six member Board, guiding transportation system and economic development in the two-county region. Served as liaison to member Board delegates, while guiding a staff of approximately twelve agency staff/contractors. Responsible for agency Fiscal Operations, Budgeting, Human Resources, Grant and Contract administration. With a relatively modest annual budget of $1.2 million, the agency holds the responsibility for prioritization and distribution of (pass-through) project-level funding provided the region. Built strong relations and acted as liaison between local members and partners at regional, state, and district levels.

Responsible for development and calibration of regional travel demand model, allowing local planners evaluation of transportation system needs. Required significant interaction with assorted technical and planning staff, from metropolitan jurisdictions, to determine existing conditions and future planned growth. Efforts include significant GIS work, database and network coding utilizing the TransCad software platform. Responsible for authoring pertinent modeling sections of long-range planning documents, obtaining and updating GIS files for use at regional level, and creating maps across jurisdictional boundaries, for use in transportation planning efforts. Maintained Statewide Transportation Improvement Plan (STIP), on behalf of jurisdictions in the region, and assisted with updates and training of software programs.

Primary responsibilities included supporting research for long-range planning document content, development and upkeep of the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) for the two-county region, GIS system upgrades, IT support, and display preparation for Managerial discussions.
