Performed research and survey work to create a preliminary Historic District nomination for the Lincoln Avenue main street of downtown Calistoga, California. Presented my findings in a presentation to the Calistoga Planning Department.Completed Part 2 for two Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit Applications. One application was for the Gifford House, an historic Queen Anne house in Napa, California, and the other was for Lombarda Cellar (Freemark Abbey), an historic stone winery building near St. Helena, California.

Developed and executed a variety of historic preservation programs and fundraisers for a preservation advocacy organization.Performed structural assessments on 30 buildings and structures damaged by the South Napa Earthquake using FEMA forms, and through communication with homeowners.Launched, managed, and marketed a successful fundraising campaign to perform structural assessments for Napa’s earthquake-damaged historic resources—exceeding our $10,000 goal.Reviewed and edited three National Register nominations prepared by Napa County Landmarks.

Participated in a county-wide grant-funded project to resurvey and update Napa County’s Historic Resource Inventory (HRI). During this internship, I identified and documented over 100 historical resources, learned how to fill out required state forms, and gained an understanding of significance. Experiences included measuring 19th century stone bridges, assessing the structural integrity of wood barns, and following rail beds, creeks, and other markers to locate historic resources that were hidden from view.

Optimized the Urban Edge NY website to achieve greater visibility within search results by implementing the most tactful SEO strategies.

Assisted in processing invoices for major Western Region chain accounts. Calculated return-on-investments for various marketing initiatives.
