Over see team of planners to plan Tesco stores for ROI. 13 plans per week over 24 hour days. 130 full time drivers with 50 agency drivers to fill the requirments. Volumes ranged from 750k to 1.5m cases per week planned.

I have taken over the running of the planning department. This is the main body of the transport department. I have responsibility for all KPIs, scheduling, drivers hours/ holidays, DOT, Trailer utilisation. Attend daily management meeting to assess performance of previous day.Management of a team of 10 clerks in total. Working with staff to make sure that all data is entered into the relevant systems. Making sure that all the information is captured from other departments within our DC and other DCs alike. Responsibility for sign off of efficient and cost effective schedule. I am one of two people with the responsibility in signing off the schedules to work for transport department and the warehouse alike.Responsibility for on time arrival of all deliveries to stores nationwide. This is our main KPI as the whole business is measured on this. I am glad to say that I play a major part in this by signing off a cost affective and workable schedule.Compilation of KPI reports for Head of Transport To compile all the stats for the transport manager for his meeting held each morning on the previous days performance.Advising all stores of their individual KPI's Management of Customer Service Department.I have made this department the one that other DCs are following;

I started with Zellwood as a yard shunter and progressed to a delivery driver after six mounts. I spread my duties as shunter and driver until 2000 when I started my induction into the transport office in January of 2000 working from office duties to driving duties.

Responsibility for load checking I started working as a warehouse operative. After six months I progressed to a full time driver delivering to Dunne's Stores nation wide after having obtained my full rigid driving licence. I them progressed onto articulated vehicles in 1989. I went on driving for another 3 years. In 1992 I was gave the opportunity to become a warehouse team manager. This duty involver checking of loads that we were dispatching to Dunne's Stores.
