Experienced Lead Pastor with a demonstrated history of preaching and leading. Skilled in communicating, equipping, theology, church consulting, and pastoral counseling. Strong community and social services professional with a Masters focused in Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. A native of Tennessee, Brian grew up in Texas, where he started in ministry, graduated from Dallas Baptist University & Southwestern Seminary, and met his wife Morgan. After spending 10 years in ministry in Wichita, KS, where both their children (Libby & Nate) were born, the Mayfields felt the Lord calling them to move to Madison in March 2009. As Lead Pastor, Brian is visibly passionate about preaching the Word of God, raising up & equipping leaders, and reaching our city and the nations with the Gospel. When he’s not reading 3 books at one time, Brian loves spending time with his family, on the beach, and at the baseball field.
