Whilst in post I planned and supervised the re-location of the court and staff from the court building to outhoused accommodation elsewhere in the town, he organisation and running of court business whilst outhoused as well as overseeing the + £2 million re-furbishment of the main courthouse with exension and the return of staff abd operations to the re-furbished building.

Assistant Sheriff Clerk. I volunteered to transfer to Greenock to assists the Service who could not find a suitable replacement to assist the Sheriff Clerk. During this time I planned and supervised the re-location of the court, the staff and all the court records from Greenock to the dry dock at Bogston Shipyard whilst the court itself underwent a complete re-furbishment.
