As a second level Embedded Software Engineer my responsibilities have increased. As part of this responsibility increase I have served as a technical lead for two different product teams one with eight people and one with fifteen people where I was accountable for the quality and timely delivery of user stories and the facilitation of the team's Agile ceremonies. I have also I led the design of a new software product coordinating with stakeholders across the organization including research, engineering, and product.

As a software engineer at a small company my development efforts have been spread across a variety of projects with a consistent focus on creating quality products and demos for our customers. Significant contributions of mine while working at the company are listed below.▪ Individually created–from scratch–automated deployment and end-to-end testing protocols for the companies embedded systems using bash and python scripts.▪ Led the software integration effort of Origin AI's proprietary Wi-Fi sensing algorithms onto a new IoT connected microchip. Delivered–on schedule–a demo video and multiple binaries to the manufacturer of the microchip that showcased the company's proprietary Wi-Fi sensing technology. As part of this integration effort I engaged in direct client communications asking and answering technical questions and giving technical presentations to the clients engineering teams via email and conference calls.▪ Added a unit testing suite framework to the repository for one of the microchips our company supports. The testing framework utilized the UNITY testing library https://www.throwtheswitch.org/unity

• Collaboratively researched the categorization of sleep stages, with another intern, to create machine learning models with TensorFlow that predict sleep stages using breathing rate data collected from company devices.• Assisted in the development of security protocols and AWS cloud backup procedures to proactively prevent disruption to company operations from ransomware attacks.• Created a web application, in JavaScript, that enables file downloads that are 10% the original file size in a more user-friendly format.

Created a 350-line solution file and project description document for a COVID-19 simulation project for the 40 person class.Instructed and supervise students in 12 person recitations and weekly office hours to improve their knowledge and understanding of the C programming language.Organized instructional goals and timelines with the course professor and the other 2 teaching assistants for the class.Graded the students in my section submissions, which include 4 homeworks, 4 quizzes, 2 exams, and 3 projects in conjunction with the other TA's and my professor.
