Working with a Catholic Archdiocese to developing a multi district water programme from new. Responsible for:• People management: Building and managing a team of 20 staff.• Fundraising: proposal writing, financial management and budgetary control (€300,000/annum)• Organisational & Strategic Planning: Development and implementation of systems, operating procedures, programme policy and a three year strategic plan.• Monitoring and Evaluation: Devising and implementing monitoring and evaluation strategies. • Capacity building and institutional strengthening through training and skill sharing, including mento ring of a counterpart. Responsible for arranging for training needs of other staff members, a mobile maintenance unit and team of artisans. • Community strategies: Applying participatory rural appraisal to maximise community involvement.• Rainwater harvesting: core work supported over 100 self help groups to build 800 ferrocement tanks constructed (7-30m3 capacity).
