Description of Duties : Implement network changes as detailed by Operations planning Perform routine checks diagnostics on Rectifiers, Standby Plant Machines Commissioning and co-ordination of all new equipment in the Network Including Cell Extenders Signing off of Site acceptance, verifying its contents and work performed after completion Obtaining and controlling the required hardware for Network activities Co-ordinate and carry out relocations of Mobiles To assist in the upgrading of the GSM network through the implementation of new technologies (GPRS and 3G in order to achieve targets and new services delivery. To maintain the GSM network as a totality by conducting routine and preventative maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance to set company standards policies, procedures and targets To conduct cut-overs, commissioning as well as de-commissioning of sites as a planned project and ensure optimum network quality and performance at all times To ensure that all relevant databases and computer systems are updated and maintained to ensure 100% data integrity on the Network, To assist in the roll out of both temporary and permanent transmission to achieve network availability and Service targets Maintaining of EWSD exchanges Maintain DECT systems, Microwave Systems
