Built out key components of a new, automated deployment and operations platform at Oomnitza using Terraform and Ansible on AWS. Our platform supports hundreds of instances, allowing low touch deployment and management of customer instances with maximal uptime and detailed monitoring and alerting. I co-founded BelugaLock with the mission of providing reliable and secure infrastructure to help connect smart contracts and other blockchain services with decentralized information from the off-chain world.Though description my company invites a trip down the blockchain rabbit hole, I gained universally valuable skills and experience through my time leading this small startup. My responsibilities included cloud architecture design, platform development, project planning and management, recruiting, and business development.Leveraging my Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps experience, I led a team of two developers while designing and implementing an infrastructure as a service platform on AWS. My company offered highly available infrastructure capable of reliably delivering trusted data to consumers on the blockchain. Joining the rest of the DreamBox technology organization on a journey transitioning from a more traditional SDLC to a true DevOps model inspired by Google's Site Reliability Engineering methodology, I received a title change and promotion.In this role, I worked on developing a new cloud-native platform (PaaS) that heavily featured the HashiCorp suite of tools. I also made critical contributions in migrating our legacy applications to the new platform.

Fulfilling a combination of responsibilities across the roles Operations Engineer and Platform Engineer, I contributed to the evolution and maintenance of DreamBox's platform and core infrastructure. Additionally, I took part in a critical on-call rotation, triaging and resolving production issues.
