I Enjoyed working with a young group of people on the floor striving to learn the process. Basics continue to be the fundamental to success. It was good to share my experiences as well as new technology striving to become and be the best in the business. Safety + basic fundamentals = efficiency.

I was a supervisor for a short time at Alcoa. I coached, instructed, audited, followed up on assigned tasks to achieve goals and expectaions.

Great oppurtunity at this time. I was privelidged to operate an area under my control for a number of years leading the way in safety, productivity, and efficiency in my area of responsibility. I was and continue to be proud and confident of the process at his time providing me the ability to handle other responsibilities such as manning for both hourly and salary personnel with positive results. I was involved with plans, budget projectives and goals involving the operation. During my tenure as General supervisor I was involved and participated in a select team to develop and implement the performance management system introduced to Century and is currently in place.

I held the position of general supervisor in 3 different departments all to compliment each other. Carbon green, rodding, and the potrooms. I had some affiliation with the baking process. I found it interesting how each department competed with each other and strived to enhance the overall performance.Very good structure and communication among the group involved.Very involved and motivated.
