I have been working as an Application Engineer at Modern Controls Inc (aka best BAS company out there) for the past 10 years. I also worked as a Project Manager from 2008 to 2012 but unfortunatley as Modern continued to grow and take on more projects the submittals, o&m/as-builts were piling up on my desk. The Application Engineer role has since been my number one priority which means very little time for project management and more time engineering submittals, installaiton wiring plans and lately detailed turn-key wiring diagrams for an electrican to install our controls. In addition to managing the submittal/as-built and project close out process for our current controls projects I also provide incredibly amazing office support to the project managers, sales engineers, field technicians/programmers and anyone else who needs help. I could go on and on but that would be tacky :) I basically work in a super friendly, small, family type of office environment with several other very intelligent, genuinely nice people that I have grown to love, almost as much as my job!
