I have an exceptionally diverse background that spans the Alberta land surveying industry. I am genuinely capable of meeting your expectations. My background also reflects the needs of related construction and engineering industries as well as approval agencies. My education included Urban Planning and aspects of Geomatics. My working roles included field work and office work. The office work included drafting, calculating, checking, supervision of office and field staff, project coordination and urban planning. Since that time, I have gained experience in a wide range of work in urban surveys, oilpatch surveys and construction surveys involved in projects that varied from typical day-to-day operational activities to large, multiphase projects that take several years to completely conclude. I have participated in urban/municipal developments ranging from one lot to hundreds of lots – commercial, industrial and residential. I have been involved in the full spectrum of oil and gas surveys (freehold and Crown), including but not limited to pipeline right-of-ways, IOPs, construction plans, alignment sheets, wellsites, crossings, PLAs, route maps, location plans, ERPs and so on. Within construction surveying, I have drafted the full range of plans, including but not limited to plot plans, site plans, cross-sections, profiles, contouring, earth volumes, alignment sheets, construction plans and so on, particularly with a view to satisfy the requirements of clients, related engineering firms and approval groups. Within mapping, I have drafted base maps, fieldmaps and compiled plans. I have experience with GIS. I use AutoCAD products.Most of my clients use me for CAD drafting but my experience and background are not limited to drafting. I have considerable knowledge of the technical, professional and business aspects of the Alberta land surveying industry.
