Responsible for the execution of OpenSky's IT Strategy. Also responsible for the global development of OpenSky's infrastructure consulting services, which focuses on virtual infrastructure solutions, VDI and Citrix deployments, data network infrastructure, data center projects and the integration of Cloud Services into Enterprise IT portfolios.

Responsible for the global development of OpenSky’s infrastructure services offerings. This includes service development and practice support responsibilities for an array of consulting offerings across major IT infrastructure technologies, including virtual infrastructure, network infrastructure, data center projects, VDI Infrastructure, Citrix Infrastructure and the integration of Cloud Services into Enterprise IT portfolios. The infrastructure consulting practice has produced approximately 45% of all OpenSky revenue from 2008-2014.

Responsible for the delivery of all Data Network services for Travelers Insurance. This included leading a group of 40+ employees responsible for the architecture, planning, design and implementation of the data network and its components including all LAN, WAN, B2B and Internet connectivity. This role also included primary responsibility for managing a $30M+ budget including all circuit expenses, hardware expenses, salary expenses, and vendor maintenance contracts.

• Developed a new engineering team with responsibility for all network performance tools, network capacity planning and network certification of all business applications.• Developed a process to certify all business applications prior to deployment on the Travelers data network. This process involved analyzing key application transactions with a network trace tool to ensure proper behavior on the network and to determine any potential latency or bandwidth sensitivities.• Oversaw the selection and implementation of network performance tools to help effectively manage network resources and optimize spending on capacity expansion.• Participated in the design and deployment of all enterprise infrastructure technologies to ensure optimal network performance (Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Enterprise Backup Solutions, Software distribution infrastructure, Data Warehouses)

Part of a small core team of lead engineers responsible for the design and engineering of the Travelers Wide Area Networks, Data Center Networks and LAN infrastructure.

Served as the lead engineer and project manager in many key network infrastructure initiatives including the consolidation of the Travelers Hartford Data Center to Norcross, the implementation of geographical channel extension to support remote mainframe printing, the implementation of SONET ring facilities to support Data Center initiatives, and various other infrastructure hardening projects.
